Grinding table grinding wheel frame and other moving parts in the micro cycle feed or low speed continuous movement, the movement of non-uniform phenomenon, commonly known as crawling.

When this phenomenon occurs in the grinding machine, the feed in the grinding process is not uniform, and affects the surface roughness of the workpiece grinding.

The grinding machine produces vibration in the grinding process, which makes the relative position of the grinding wheel and the workpiece change periodically, and causes the vibration pattern on the surface of the workpiece, which seriously affects the machining quality and accuracy.

In order to improve the accuracy of the workpiece after grinding, in addition to trying to eliminate the influence of the above factors, we must also pay attention to the reasonable selection of positioning datum, clamping method, selection and correct repair of grinding wheel, reasonable selection of grinding amount and process method during the workpiece processing.

Matters needing attention for grinding machine

1. When the coordinate grinder is used for high-precision machining, the machine must be installed in a constant temperature room with a temperature of 20℃±1℃ and a relative humidity no higher than 70.5%, and avoid direct sunlight and radiation from local heat source.

The change of room temperature should not be greater than 0.5℃/4 hours.

2. The foundation of the coordinate grinding machine shall be provided with a shockproof groove.

3. The compressed air connected to the coordinate grinder shall be filtered dry air, and the pressurized dew temperature of the compressed air shall be lower than 10℃.

4, after the processed parts are transported into the constant greenhouse, the size of the parts must be isothermal 2~3 hours, the required measurement tools should be isothermal in advance, and then can be processed and measured.
